Does group Ironman prestige matter? ›

A group member without individual prestige is unable to use most unique items from raids, regular bosses, and slayer bosses without having killed those bosses at least once.

Ironmen are able to buy bonds from the Grand Exchange, which disallows them from buying or selling any other item via a unique interface.

Ironmen can't enable Accept Aid, but can still participate in some group activities such as Barbarian Assault. Group ironmen may engage in most interactions typically requiring the option to be enabled, but only with the members of their group.

All members of a Hardcore Group Ironman share a single life per player. If there are 5 members in the group, then that means the group has 5 lives to spare. If they lose all of these 5 lives, the Hardcore Group Ironman status will be reverted to a regular Ironman account.

If you have been removed from your Group, then you will have a grace period of 7 days for the Group to reverse its decision, or for you to prepare your account for the next steps. You'll be unable to remove items from the Group Storage during the grace period. You can then choose a new gamemode for your account.

GIM is a little different – players can access each other's houses. Additionally, Ironmen will now be able to let other players into their own house too, although they still can't enter other players' houses. You can form a group of between two and five players.

Currently, your regular Iron accounts can have a Player Owned House of their own, but can't enter other Player Owned Houses or invite anyone into theirs. GIM is a little different – players can access the houses of other players in their group, as long as the owner is home to welcome them.

A Hardcore Ironman account has all of the above restrictions, with one addition: when you die to a non-safe in-game activity, your account will no longer be playable. You'll have to play carefully and pick your battles if you hope to survive this - the toughest of all RuneScape challenges.

A Collector is one of the easiest roles. As you spawn into the world, make sure to stay more towards the west half of the map so that you don't disturb the Healer and Defender. Every 30 seconds, make sure that the Attackers know which attack style to use because this is where the team loses most of their points.

While playing Barbarian Assault, players will suffer melee, ranged or poison damage from the Penance monsters. As such, wearing melee armour with both high melee and ranged defence bonus is recommended.

Can you trade untradeables in Group Ironman? ›

Certain untradeable items could circumvent item restrictions if players were to obtain them via group mates. These items can not be made tradeable because there's no way of detecting which items the player earned themselves, and which were tradeable.

Group Ironman mode (GIM) is a challenging yet engaging game mode as you and up to 4 other players can team up and take on the all of the challenges Redemption has to offer! Players will start with 10% drop rate bonus and gain 2% for each member in their team. (20% drop rate for a full team).

Group Ironman Mode is an Ironman Mode variant which will be released in 2024. The mode allows 2 to 5 players to group up together with all normal Ironman Mode (or Hardcore Ironman Mode) restrictions.

The higher your prestige the higher points you will be able to aquire in alliance quest thus getting better rewards.

Specifically, Ironman mode players can now group up with regular players for boss fights, and the formerly group-centric Solak boss fight can now be taken on solo. The patch has also balanced Zamorak's boss loot table and released the Dagannoth King pet rework.
